AEW Dynamite: Will Shaq accept Cody and Velvet's challenge? Young Bucks and Good Brothers dominate
One week before a much needed beach break, AEW Dynamite presented tonight a great appetizer to what will be the special event Beach Break and tonight’s Dynamite left us with more questions than answers. For the first time in 5 years, the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks partnered with the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers in a four on four match against The Dark Order. The Bullet Club looked impeccable, as if it had been a day since the last time they had a tag team match, dominating The Dark Order in a pretty competitive match between both teams.
After their hands were raised, Matt and Nick Jackson revealed that next week at Beach Break, they will participate in the Battle Royal to determine the next challengers to the AEW Tag Team Championships. If the Young Bucks are crown the winners, then they will choose any other tag team as their opponents at the Revolution event. And when they say any other tag team, they really mean to any other tag team. Will we soon see a Championship tag team match between champions and “friends”?
The well-known basketball player Shaquille O’Neil launched a challenge to Cody for a match at REVOLUTION. This challenge was not accepted by Cody, but his coach Arn Anderson had another strategy in mind. Red Velvet and Cody against Jade and Shaq in a inter gender tag team match. Ironically the ball is in Shaquille’s and Jade’s court and remain up to them to accept the challenge. Will Shaq know that entering a wrestling ring is more difficult than making a free throw? Only time will tell.
